Above is a close-up bottom up view of pineapple.... Somehow i felt that they look a bit like steps or maybe hooks for us to climb up a cliff or something. Feeling of the day: Climbing up a cliff....guess it is a bit like our life ....we need to climb many routes in our life, some steep some gentle... Currently, think i am climbing some steep portion, thinking of taking alternative routes at times but haven steered away yet from the current path... Hope i can hang on to the current route...and something happy will come up from it...

We need the difficult times in our lives - so that we know when we are experienceing the easy times. Its the same as the story of a man who was neither happy or sad - all day, in the end of the story he wished for sad days just so he could know what happy days felt like as well.
There is always a great reward at the end of an uphill battle. It will make you stronger in the end if nothing else. You will grow and the next time it will be easier because you know your hard work will pay off.

@Rabbit: Guess you are right, like there is a chinese saying 苦尽甘来 (ku jin gan lai) which means "when bitterness is finished,sweetness begins"
Shall try to continue this uphill battle although it seems heading no where at the moment
